I've heard of people simmering it down until thick and then using a dehyrator, but I've never done that.

When I can my turkey and chicken broth (YES, of course you can can it!), it needs to be diluted by an equal amount of water before using.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750292879037409647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2368819148999076470.post-58640566331576616702009-01-15T16:53:00.000-06:002009-01-15T16:53:00.000-06:00To make bouillon from broth:Boil the broth until i...To make bouillon from broth:

Boil the broth until it is highly concentrated - 80% of the water should have evaporated.

Stick the concentrated broth in a plastic (or whatever) container (preferable a square or rectangle size) in the fridge until it solidifies. It should be like a thick, dense, jelly brick.

Remove the jelly brick from the plastic container and cut it into little cubes, and store those cubes in a separate container, in the freezer.Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00611833769714088652noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2368819148999076470.post-32779369812852281972009-01-06T06:33:00.000-06:002009-01-06T06:33:00.000-06:00Thank you, Mayberry. This will take up much less room in the freezer. It's concentrated, so you add water when you use it for soup or sauce.

d.a.: Organic is important too, to make sure you get the best nutritional support from the broth as possible.
HMPatriciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11257697880645849334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2368819148999076470.post-60582234247315874832009-01-05T01:53:00.000-06:002009-01-05T01:53:00.000-06:00We've found a place that sells cheap organic chick...We've found a place that sells cheap organic chicken backs, several in a pack, that we use for our chicken stock. Have you ever come across how to do that ? If you was to can the broth I'm not sure how that would work out... That does not seem like a great idea which is why I wondering about the cubes or something similar. We only have so much room in the freezer to store broth.

Thanks!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2368819148999076470.post-81853205751394445952009-01-04T13:54:00.000-06:002009-01-04T13:54:00.000-06:00Sounds like some very useful information to me!
